No reason to buy Nike; stock is down significantly to 52-week lows and lacks bullish technicals or sentiment.

what do I see that's trending today? Uh, Nike. Let's see. I mean, this is a stock that's got obliterated. How much is Nike down right now off its highs?

Nike has come down from 76 to a 52- week low of 3535. And yesterday's range was 35 to 3614. So, people still hate this stock up. So, I'm not going to look to get involved there.

Nike has been tonedeaf to its audience for more than a decade. Not surprised,

Let's talk about Nike. I conducted my own poll on the subway today. Nike shoes were more popular than other sports shoes. I looked for OnCloud, Adidas and Puma shoes, and I like to conduct this survey on the subway to see what people are wearing, and Nike was the most present.

But let's talk about the stock. You might need to start your own "Nicole" survey when it comes to this sportswear manufacturer. Listen, Nike is receiving another rating downgrade now, and the stock is down more than 1%, around 1.5% currently.

Nike is unattractive/not a buy due to failed DTC strategy, loss of retail partners, over-reliance on Jordan brand, and declining consumer resonance.

I feel that "Nike" is the most prominent example of this. Nike has had a price-to-earnings ratio that is almost forever higher than the market, and this has hurt buy-and-hold investors a lot, because not only have profits declined for five consecutive years, but the ratio has also continued to fall.

Nike lacks market excitement and interest; hard to be bullish on the stock.

Nike is asleep, isn't it? Many questions about this stock are of the type: " Should I add more?" Should I make a covered call option? Should I buy the stock and look to sell the call options?

I received many questions about this . She is asleep. Why would you want to bet that she will wake up? If you know something, that's great. Don't tell me, I'm not allowed to know.

But this is Nike's current situation. She is asleep. There is no excitement, no interest, no media coverage, and no social media-driven optimism or pessimism there. It is very , very difficult to look at Nike and get excited about it.

NKE faces value trap risk from falling earnings/FCF; potential bull case only if business transition restores prior growth levels.

Now I'll talk about stock number three, which is currently near its 52-week low. That is Nike, whose ticker symbol is NKE. And Nike's stock, one of the most iconic brands of all time, is doing very badly.

It has decreased by 75.9% in the last 5 years. It has fallen another 49.3% in the past year and is near its 52-week low.

NKE remains in a downtrend blocked by the 20-day MA; a bottom may form near $33 but no signal for sustained upside exists yet.

Now it's Nike. Last weekend or two weeks ago I was at my neighbor's 10- year-old kid's birthday party and this was the talk, people were just asking when Nike was going to turn around ?

So, what is your opinion when looking at a structure like this? Because clearly the trend is very good and there is no reason for short sellers to be afraid. What would be a credible trend change or some kind of bottom for you ?

Every time it has tried to break the 50- period barrier , it has failed miserably. We are so far from the 200- period moving average that all my hair will fall out by the time we get there.

So, what would you say to those who are looking for bottom? Or would you do anything at all with this stock?

“Should Investors Buy Nike Stock Instead of Lululemon? | NKE Stock vs. LULU Stock”
$NKEBullish
Nike is a buying opportunity; despite operational headwinds and slight DCF overvaluation ($31 fair value vs $36 price), it is undervalued on forward P/E.

Nike and Lululemon are among the underperforming sportswear retailers, with their shares trading near 52- week lows. I wanted to know which of these two declining stocks represents a better buying opportunity at the moment .

Both Nike and Lululemon are facing similar headwinds that are hindering sales growth and even pushing them into decline. Overall, Nike is still a much larger company with sales of $46 billion over the past twelve months, while Lululemon comes right behind it.

Looking ahead, sales for both companies are likely to remain weak.

Buy NKE at current levels due to valuation support (forward P/E 16) and brand strength, though short-term sales pressure persists and DCF suggests slight overvaluation.

Nike's sales are declining, and the management team has made no attempt to sugarcoat the situation. They stated that it would take some time before things improved. In the last quarter that has been completed, sales in North America have started to improve, but sales in Greater China are experiencing a really rapid decline.

$NKEBullish
Nike is a safe long-term buy due to extreme valuation lows and decade-old support, with upside potential of 20-50%.

And this graph, I love this graph. This is probably my favorite chart, and it's for Nike. Nike is recording extremely low levels, and let's find out how low they really were, guys.

In what year was the last time Nike was rated this low ? 2014, 12 years ago, about 12 and a half years ago. It's truly unbelievable. For me , upon closer examination of the weekly chart, if the price is anywhere within this range, I like it .

Isn't that so? Here you are entering a level of support that dates back a decade. Is that so? You can reasonably say so, ca n't you? Looking at the stock, let's say it has declined by what?

79% of its peak levels? You can reasonably buy it and keep it for a long period of time. And an upward movement of, as you know, 20 or 50%, right? Even a 50% return to the price it was 3 or 4 months ago is not entirely unreasonable.

In addition, the stock pays dividends, so holding it effectively gives you an extra 1% every quarter. Isn't that so? This is a safe center. True, whether you love Nike or hate it, Nike will still be around in 10 years.

That's right, and that's why I absolutely love this position as a long-term deal.

Nike's sales momentum is deteriorating and macro headwinds will cause 3-6 months of tough times, though management is adapting wisely.

In the most recent quarter , Nike announced a decline in sales compared to the same quarter last year. But if you look beneath the surface, the situation was actually much worse than it appeared .

This is because Nike stated that sales started strongly at the beginning of the quarter and then deteriorated later.

“Huge News for Nike Stock Investors! | NKE Stock Deep Dive Part 3”

NKE's significant exposure to the struggling China market poses a major obstacle to its share price.

We have important news for Nike stock investors, as the management team has stated that they are taking decisive action in the supply chain to reduce costs, streamline operations, and adjust the size of the distribution network to match future demand.

In other words, demand doesn't seem strong, and we are adjusting our operations to meet this slower demand. Therefore, I believe that the Nike management team is adapting wisely to the macroeconomic environment they are facing.

Austin, I was speaking frankly about my gradual return to investing in Nike stock after a very long hiatus , because I think they've kind of moved past all those controversial announcements and other things.

I see a strong comeback for the Nike brand among runners and exercise enthusiasts . The Jordan brand has just announced the launch of its new range of gym equipment. Therefore , the "Jordan" brand collaborated with "Nike Strength" to launch a complete line of strength training equipment for home and commercial use.

NKE is a buy but potentially premature due to inventory issues; current price $36 is attractive but $32 is preferred.

Listen, I think the main reason everyone is talking about Nike stock is that it's trading at its lowest level in 52 weeks. The stock price has fallen significantly over the past few years.

It has fallen significantly from its peak of over $175 per share.

The company is still taking time to accelerate its growth, as the current management team hopes . One of the strategies Nike is implementing to stimulate revenue growth is to renew its relationships with wholesalers.

Nike is a buy; its price reflects permanent failure despite a strong brand capable of turnaround.

One example of that, I actually love Nike right now. Nike pays a dividend. It's at multi-deade lows basically. And again, you know, Nike has such a good brand that inevitably as many mistakes as they've made, I think they can turn it around.

And it's priced basically as if they'll never turn it around. And so, I love it. You guys know I'm a contrarian like that. When everyone else hates on something, when everyone else is throwing it out, baby out with the bathwater, I'm like, "Okay, now I'm actually interested because everyone else hates it." Be that contrarian. That's the key.

Avoid NKE; it faces fierce competition and execution risk in its turnaround, while trading at 24x trailing earnings makes it less attractive than perceived.

Nike is one of the strongest brands in the world and historically it has been one of the best performing stocks on the market. It produced over 100,000% returns from its IPO to its peak in 2021.

However, it's now down almost 80% from its all-time highs and the stock is continuing to drop. This has led to many investors wondering if the stock is looking cheap or if there is something truly wrong with the business.

Maintains full conviction in NKE despite poor performance; no intention to sell.

Nike. Um, the crazy thing about Nike, you know, the crazy thing, guys, okay, obviously the position's done awful. There's no other way to put it, man. There's no other way to put it.

We got the flapjacks flipped right on the floor. But the craziest thing is in regards to this Nike situation, I have lost zero conviction in Nike. Like, I'm as I have as much conviction in that stock as I did when I first started buying the stock.

And so, that's pretty rare. I will say it's pretty rare when you could be down this much on a position and you're like I have lost no because usually when I go down big on a stock I you know when it like if you go down like 30% plus let's call it it's kind of natural to start losing some conviction be like oh shoot okay maybe maybe maybe something's going I've lost no conviction Nike that's the craziest part of this whole situation so we'll see what happens but um Nike I haven't I have no intention to sell Nike uh you know yeah I'm still as confident as I've ever been.

It's just weird. It's very weird but that's how I truly feel.
