Memory sector (e.g., MU) has strong investment case due to supply shortage through 2027/2028; risk-reward is favorable.

Memory. Uh, a little bit of a reminder. Things are getting desperate in the memory front of absolutely sold out into 2027. Prices are going through the roof. There simply isn't enough memory out there and there's no way of making it and tightness may last.

If a customer goes and orders 10 billion dollars worth of memory, they'll be lucky if they get half of that order. And there are tons of supply contracts that are unfulfilled. That's why if you have a close relationship and you're a big player like an Elon Musk ordering a crap ton of memory from these players, he said in a public call a few months ago, he thanked Micron directly because they are fulfilling his need.

But all the other players aren't getting their need fulfilled because they didn't have the foresight around the supply crunch. Again, memory is not going away. So part of the story is if you're thinking about investing in the core weaves and the blue owls and the blue oceans and whatever else out there, the oracles, just invest in memory.

The risk reward is insane, at least for now. Let's watch this through 2028.

MU has upside if it remains near 1000 pre-earnings; memory pricing strength expected to last until 2027.

Anyway, um so the socks because it's trading better via MU and SanDisk, which got over some important levels, Dell, CRM, um and certainly Meta.

Micron is expected to perform well in the long run; it is a strong holding whose stock price moves in line with its earnings.

More importantly, I think what's going to happen is that the SOXX fund will experience a kind of insane rally, and as it pulls back, the semiconductor companies we know and love and hold in our portfolios , like Nvidia, Micron, and AMD— names I believe will continue to perform well in the long run—will be negatively impacted by what I would call... what else could I call it?

Collateral damage in a broader sell-off in the semiconductor sector , where the market will start saying, 'Wait a minute, we should n't have raised the price of every stock with ' semiconductor' in its name .'

Here's a great example . Okay, I can scroll down to show you . These are some of the names in the SOXX fund: AMD, Micron, Nvidia and Broadcom are strong names. I love those names.

I've owned them for a very long time and I'll continue to own them for a very long time .

“My Take on What to Expect From Micron on Sep. 30”
$MUBullish
MU is undervalued at a forward P/E of six; DCF estimates a fair value of $1439 (vs. current $1041), implying >38% upside in 12-18 months driven by robust fundamentals.

Micron is scheduled to announce its quarterly financial results after the market closes on September 30. Given that Micron's stock has already risen by more than 264% since the beginning of 2026, there are a lot of conflicting feelings among investors.

There are some investors who own Micron shares and fear that the share price will collapse after the company's quarterly financial update. There are others watching from the outside, interested in buying Micron shares, but they don't know which way to go.

MU's recent rally requires position sizing caution, but the rising 50-day MA signals that future pullbacks are strong buy opportunities.

Micron was the name that we had a really good earnings season with , right ? I mean, ES is doing very well. I think they added 225 or so in earnings per share this year , which was much better than the S&P 500 expectations. And now it's time for the micron.

So, I was actually looking at this, and there was another trader on our show who was really...I was trying to show this before the last 2 weeks , but the little consolidations that we saw here in late August and September, it does n't look very good to me.

However, with the breakout that Micron is seeing ahead of its earnings release in 8 days, what is your opinion on Micron at this stage?

MU chart looked bullish pre-close on Friday; speaker holds a long position.

SanDisk is pretty. MU is pretty. Intel is pretty. AMD is really pretty but all-time high already. Uh those are those are really pretty charts I think.

Uh MU I So on Friday I noticed that things were like looking good before the close. And if you look at the chart of I mean I really should when I come on the mic here I should have my chart up for so I can I can show you real quick.

But on Friday I noticed that things were shaping up like setting up into the close and I feel like somebody must have known about the China deal or because all the tech stocks started popping into the close on Friday.

And so I'm going to show you my charts real quick. And so if you look at the if you look at uh one second uh Intel pull up the Intel chart hourly chart. Where is my TC2000? Here it is.

So am I sure? Are you Yeah, there it is. So if you look at Intel hourly chart on Friday, I mentioned this in the room. Uh, we had a buy setup, but it hadn't yet popped. I mean, it when I mentioned it, it wasn't yet going and then there it is.

Long right here. Same with MU was pretty bullish. Same with the SMH. They all popped on Friday. But before the pop, they were starting to look good. Mentioned them all in the in the room. Got positions in all of them.

Bullish for MU due to sold-out HBM capacity across major DRAM makers, though commodity pricing may peak by end of 2027.

The cues have smashed through my 735 line. We took like the shortest breather at my line just so me Kevin could say, "We hung out at my line." That's it. It was just long enough to say, "We hung out at Kevin's line. We respected the line, but peace."

which is actually bullish for high bandwidth memory like your skinex's or your micron

MU expected to rally to 1150 (Fibonacci/gap resistance); potential short setup at that level.

I like this for a move up on Micron. It's already gapping higher today. I'm looking at a move up here to this 1150 level. This also happens to be and why I like this level as resistance.

If we use our Fibonacci tool and we drag it down, the Fibonacci 786 is almost identical with that gap fill. So that'll be my target level for the move up. And if it gets there, I would consider a short on Micron at that point.

“A Day Trade, Swing Trade, and Long-Term Hold (SanDisk, Micron, Nike)”
$MUBearish
Micron is set for a swing sell trade targeting an 11% decline to the recent gap fill, with additional capital allocated at secondary resistance near 1042.

Next is the " Micron" stock. "Micron," well, that's an arrow you identified through research , right? In other words, there is a potentially good opportunity for swing trading here.

Now, what is the difference between swing trading and day trading? Okay, I'm looking for a slightly higher percentage. I believe this decline is not necessarily just one, two, or three percent.

I am looking for a 10 to 15 or 20% move in my likely direction. correct? The price doesn't necessarily have to drop directly down, but it will be a good level of resistance. Well, Micron gives us two good examples of that.

First, at 1027, there is a remarkable gap being filled at the top. This would be an ideal level for day trading . But, for long-term trading, I like the high pivot point here around 1042.

And this gap here around 1115. You can see that the distance between them is 11 %. Now, why am I doing that? Well, first of all , I must explain why I like this sales center. Micron has bounced back with a move towards this level, which suggests a downward move, but if you scroll back on the chart before this big upward move, Micron had accelerated violently by 300 % in what, a few months?

correct? Just a few months . So, this will be my plan regarding "Micron". I will start with a potential swing sell position here, and this will be my add-on level, which is the secondary resistance level.

Because when we trade swings, I'm not just looking for a quick downward move. If the stock moves against my expectations, that's okay. I have a plan and I find that the secondary resistance level, with a difference of approximately 10%, is where I like to distribute my additional capital, with a difference of approximately 10%.

This is a difference of 11% to 10.5%. So, this is the setup I like for potential swing trading, isn't it? In this case, I think the downward move is only to, you know, this gap that was filled on Wednesday, two days ago , you know, three or four days ago, i.e., two trading days ago .

I think this is very likely, and very easy, you know, and very logical, about an 11% drop from that level . So, let's see in the end if Micron can achieve that.

Tesla, SpaceX have a deal with Micron for memory. I don't know if they have a deal with SKH, but I do know Terraab, Tesla, SpaceX are working with Intel for the Terraab and this could be a way of shoring up additional memory for the future.

Now we know what Micron is going to sell for the next 3 years.

Memory demand exceeding supply through the decade supports a bull thesis for MU.

At the end of this episode, they believe that memory crunch is still going to it's not going to be solved this decade. So, it's interesting that it might seem scary for memory investors, but at the end, they ended up saying that the kind of memory demand is not going to be solved this decade. So, that's still extremely bullish for them.

$MUBearish
MU is not a buy as it trades below the 50-day moving average; momentum names should be avoided when below this level.

Thank goodness MU did not close well because I have no MU. I have no MU. Why? Because, you know, look at how this closed again. They sold strength. Uh this 1042 got rejected if you remember last week and um and on Friday the action wasn't telling me there's any reason to be in these things because the market's kind of faulty and we're not acting special.

So you have risk a little bit lower. So now what? Okay, let's see what what was this low here. This low here was 967 or 960. So um I guess we'll see um is you know do the bears have any power?

If the bears have some power. Actually, here's a 50-day. 50-day is right there. 934, right? Where is MU right now? Um, this is like 934. MU this morning is uh a little bit below it.

So, MU is below the 50-day. You want to be in momentum names when they're above the 821 day. You don't want to be when they're below the 50-day. If you're an investor in MU and you've been in MVU for two years, that's different.

Okay. If you've been trying to hold a swing trade, which I was here, you know, and maybe you sold some strength on day three, I guess there's a small reason. So, if you have a little of this on, I get it.

You know, forgive yourself. Question is, um, you know, is it going to open up, um, down 48 and go green or is it going to open up down 48 and, you know, continue to be lower in the second part of the day? That's our job as active trades to figure out.

Nvidia and Micron are two of the companies benefiting most from the huge increase in spending on creating data centers. Micron's revenue increased by more than 4 x in its most recently completed quarter from the same time last year, while Nvidia's revenues have soared to approach $303 billion.

And Micron is the American side of the memory trade with 18% of the HBM market and 23% of overall DRAM. Their revenue more than tripled year-over-year and they report earnings at the end of September.

This will be the first memory earnings call since Astro was announced, making it a good leading indicator for compute demand in the era of AGI. So stay tuned for my coverage on that.
