Nike is a buy; its price reflects permanent failure despite a strong brand capable of turnaround.

One example of that, I actually love Nike right now. Nike pays a dividend. It's at multi-deade lows basically. And again, you know, Nike has such a good brand that inevitably as many mistakes as they've made, I think they can turn it around.
And it's priced basically as if they'll never turn it around. And so, I love it. You guys know I'm a contrarian like that. When everyone else hates on something, when everyone else is throwing it out, baby out with the bathwater, I'm like, "Okay, now I'm actually interested because everyone else hates it." Be that contrarian. That's the key.

And this graph, I love this graph. This is probably my favorite chart, and it's for Nike. Nike is recording extremely low levels, and let's find out how low they really were, guys. In what year was the last time Nike was rated this low ? 2014, 12 years ago, about 12 and a half years ago. It's truly unbelievable. For me , upon closer examination of the weekly chart, if the price is anywhere within this range, I like it . Isn't that so? Here you are entering a level of support that dates back a decade. Is that so? You can reasonably say so, ca n't you? Looking at the stock, let's say it has declined by what? 79% of its peak levels? You can reasonably buy it and keep it for a long period of time. And an upward movement of, as you know, 20 or 50%, right? Even a 50% return to the price it was 3 or 4 months ago is not entirely unreasonable. In addition, the stock pays dividends, so holding it effectively gives you an extra 1% every quarter. Isn't that so? This is a safe center. True, whether you love Nike or hate it, Nike will still be around in 10 years. That's right, and that's why I absolutely love this position as a long-term deal.
