SIL is a buy candidate now (1/3 to 1/2 position) with plans to add more later, as miners perform best when the Fed pivots from hiking due to recession risk.

I want to start buying the SIL. Um I'm waiting. I think you could take a 1/3 position, maybe even a half, but you got to be prepared to buy more because if we have that one last inflation spike, uh and the Fed, it looks like the Fed's going to hike a lot. the perception of hikes will go up.

That will accelerate inflation, I'm sorry, recession risk. And then when the Fed has to back away, that's when the gold and silver uh miners really do well.

SIL's long-term trend is bullish, but short-term weakness prevents a current long entry; waiting for confirmation of an upward turn.

if I was looking at PPH or let's say silver silver miners as an example, uh it's very bullish at the moment. So let's go into the intraday and see what we have there. It's bearish.

So, let's say I want to be notified if silver miners got back to bullish, slightly bullish or bullish. Because if I'm a near-term trader, short-term trader, I want to get a sense of when the shorter duration time frame gets back in alignment with that longer duration time frame.

Not interested in long SIL now due to bearish intraday signals (weak 15-min/2-hr), though overall pattern remains bullish.
