Prefer short-duration bonds like SHY over long-duration ones for bond exposure.

If you want to play anything in the bond market, I would suggest uh looking more at the shorter end meaning shy and bill which is three 1 to 3 months and 1 to three years and be very careful on the longer end of the curve because I think that that's where the risks are

SHY is a preferred bond investment on the shorter end of the curve, where outperformance lies.

And we have IEI, SHY, and BIL. That's the shorter end of the curve as real clear outperformer.
