Qualcomm is launching its annual Snapdragon conference as the company expands further into AI-powered personal computers, the automotive sector, and data centers. Qualcomm's theme for this year revolves around the concept of "agent AI" that moves from mere applications to understanding user intentions.

Now, the third stock that I want to bring up today is going to be Qualcomm, ticker QCOM, market cap about 200 billion dollars. Qualcomm is one of those players that is normally known as the phone company, but that has changed completely in the past few quarters.
They have moving more into the data center space.
On this week's edition, we're going to be revisiting Qualcomm. Now, Qualcomm is a global semiconductor, wireless technology, and increasingly becoming an AI computing infrastructure company.
Historically, Qualcomm has best been known for supplying Snapdragon processors, cellular modems to companies like Apple, radio frequency technologies, and wireless connectivity for company's actively trying to transform itself from a handset centered semiconductor company into a broader computing platform, spanning all kinds of devices, including smartphones and personal AI devices, automotive, industrial and consumer IoT devices, robotics, PCs, edge artificial intelligence, and now AI data centers as well.
On Tuesday, September 8th, Qualcomm and Amazon announced a deal that could be worth billions of dollars. So, that's now two deals for the data center market for Qualcomm, which as of yet has yet to produce anything or generate any revenue from this category.
And this could be huge for Qualcomm stock investors. Let me share with you the details, what it means for Qualcomm, and whether or not this stock is still a buying opportunity.
We had Qualcomm. Qualcomm rose by approximately 3% during the day. The price was much higher earlier. We saw a slight decline during the rest of the day after the opening, but Qualcomm announced a multi-generational collaboration with Amazon to build next-generation AI data center infrastructure.
This was originally a great source of excitement for Qualcomm, because it meant: "Hey, Qualcomm is achieving more victories in the field of artificial intelligence." Unfortunately, I believe it was announced during the conference that this will not add to the $5 billion in revenue they expect from data centers this year.
Yes, this remains within the expected range. This will be one of those customers who were part of it. Today's day was like an advertisement for clients. Now, being Amazon, I think this is great news, right?
Amazon is a major spender on artificial intelligence. We know they will spend lavishly on capital expenditures, and any partnership with Amazon, in my opinion, is of great importance.
So, very positive news overall for Qualcomm. I think the details of the inside deal are still a bit vague. We don't have much information to give an actual reaction to the deal itself, but overall, having Amazon as a partner is a strong move, and they still have another huge cloud provider as well.
I think they have a deal with him for this year. Therefore, it appears that Qualcomm will offer some kind of connectivity licensing solution to help with Amazon's AI infrastructure solutions.
much-needed news for Qualcomm here. As we can see here, Qualcomm manufactures these chips for Amazon. we spent two years talking about Qualcomm's data center business , and how this company could become a force in this particular field.
we knew Qualcomm needed a few major customers and needed gains like these to prove its worth. Therefore, the ability to reach a deal with a total value of approximately $60 billion in potential business.
Qualcomm is receiving a significant boost after announcing an expansion of its partnership with Amazon. Yes, this news is very strong. And I love the fact that she regressed a little and then started to recover.
I want to see them maintain the 175 level as a new low , because if they do , I think the rally will reach at least 200, and possibly 220 in a very short period of time. We saw Qualcomm as a powerful breakthrough deal.
So, if they hold the 175 level now and this market gets a small boost this week. I am looking at buy options with an execution price of 185 for September 18th. I love it at 4.50 or less.
Now, I want to take a little risk. So, the stopping points are around 75%, but I think if this move happens, it will easily reach over 200% if the actual breakout occurs . So, there are many variables, but with stability in this range, there is ample room for upward movement with few technical obstacles.
This is one of those hacking opportunities that you should be watching closely here.
Marvell and Qualcomm are preparing to capitalize on the growing demand for AI data centers . At the same time, Qualcomm is investing in the innovation, research and development of computing solutions for data centers, and accelerated central processing units (CPUs) aimed at bridging the current gap between the memory market and CPUs and graphics within data centers.
A few days ago on August 26th, Qualcomm reminded investors of its ambition for gaining market share inside the data centers updated for artificial intelligence. The company said its high-bandwidth compute HBC, its first generation, is slated for commercial shipment in 2027.
So, given the company's success in expanding outside its core competency, which is smartphones, and its success in automotive and computers, should investors be excited about Qualcomm's ambitions in data centers?
And is Qualcomm's stock a buying opportunity amid this expansion?
And finally, the third stock is Qualcomm, QCOM. All right, plan C is Qualcomm and you know I had to mix it up and throw in a death cross for you. So it's not as close as the other two were.
Literally SMCI Duolingo literally right there creating that. I'm not fully crossing though. This is a little ways away.
Let's take a look at Qualcomm. I I I don't know it all that well off the top of my head. Are they due to report? I mean, they're continuing to grow revenue. 44 billion. It seems like they got a spike around CO, though.
So, some of that growth might just be price increase. I don't know how much of the the growth is is unit versus price.
