MDT — All updates

With Medtronic recently launching a voluntary exchange offer to spin off its diabetes business unit, MiniMed, I've been thinking about how ordinary investors might evaluate this type of corporate action.

In this case, for Mini Medtronic MiniMed, there is a 7% valuation discount that you receive as an investor as part of the spin-off process.

today well, we are going to be talking about really one of my all-time favorite dividend paying stocks. One that I feel is um not only one of the greatest kind of long-term holds for decades, I would say of consistent and reliable income, but they also just happen to be trading at an absolute steal of a valuation, too.

And that is, of course, Medtronic, ticker symbol MDT.

Now, I will just say um right outside of that, Zyllem, again, one of my favorite stocks, but also Metronic, they are just out of that 50%. I would love for Zyllem and Metronic to be like more of a core holding to be in the top 50% of the portfolio, and I'm going to try to get them in there.
