Lowered Citigroup recommendation from neutral to sell due to recent performance.

I am going to lower my recommendation for Citigroup from neutral to ' sell'. That says something, because we usually see these kinds of large companies giving at most neutral advice.

Precisely. So I'm not going to recommend it today because of what Citi did this morning. I'm going to take a quick look back.

Citigroup has the greatest opportunity for growth among bank stocks; target price is 145 based on successful transformation and management, despite concerns over tangible stock levels.

Dory Wiley, you prefer "Citi" a little more than the others, "Citi" bank. For City, they have a slightly greater opportunity to expand than before. The transformation plan is still bearing fruit there.

The CEO is doing a good job. The market places the price-to-earnings ratio slightly lower than the rest. Therefore, I think Citigroup should reach a price of 145. There is a lot of room for movement there.

The only concern I have about the financial positions at the moment is that they have started to fall below the 6% for tangible stocks that I prefer to maintain as a minimum . In fact, I prefer around 7 or 8 like community banks because they are too big to be bailed out when problems occur.

So, I'd like to see that change, but I think Citibank has the greatest opportunity for growth,

Citigroup is reasonably priced; recent dividend growth (~6-7% over 6 years) supports value despite past volatility.

Now, Cityroup is an interesting story because it obviously got caught up in the hype of the what I call the financially instigated 2008 2009 great recession and these stocks paid the price.

But if you look at the shorter time frame, City Corp has seemed to write the ship. They do have some volatility. This is co but again look at that dividend line. Now the dividend line is goes periods where it grows very fast and then it doesn't.
