LYFT isn’t likely to survive as a standalone ride-hailing business if Tesla’s CyberCab replaces mass-market convenience with lower-cost robo-transport at scale.
I don’t see Lyft winning against a Tesla-led transportation stack that targets market-wide coverage with a far lower operational and per-mile cost structure. Even if services carve niches, the base case here is that the mass-market model breaks.
