We have great news for IonQ stock investors , as the company's management team has announced a major breakthrough in quantum computing. The stock price rose by more than 5% after this announcement, and of course I am happy about that .

The reason is that I recently upgraded IonQ stock to a buy opportunity for very high- risk investors, given that it is one of the riskiest stocks you can buy. But it also comes with one of the biggest growth opportunities you can see in the stock market today.

The next stock on our list and one of the big pieces of news from overnight is Ionic, ticker NQ, and it rose 12% in the pre-market after unveiling a realtime quantum error correction decoder that runs end to end on a single standard commercial CPU.

This solves a critical roadblock in the push towards fault tolerant quantum computing.

In fact, the two companies I will be comparing in this video, Rigetti and IonQ, are not performing well. They are underperforming the S&P index. But which of these two companies is the better stock to buy now?
